President and CEO
Gary P. Stokan is President and CEO of the Chick-fil-A Bowl, a position he has held since 1998. Stokan is the past president and CEO of Atlanta Hall Management – the organization created to relocate and manage the new College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta. He is also the past president of the Atlanta Sports Council, where he served from 1998 to 2009 and was the chairman of the Atlanta Local Organizing Committee to recruit the FIFA World Cup in 2018.

Chief Operating Officer
In his 17th year with the Bowl, David is responsible for marketing, branding, licensing and promotional efforts, as well as corporate relationships. He also leads the direction of merchandising and advertising campaigns. A graduate of Furman University and the University of Georgia, David lives in Marietta with his wife, Kim, their 10-year-old son, Grayson, and 8-year-old daughter, Maggie.

Chief Revenue Officer
Having started in April 2011, Owen is responsible for ticket sales, the corporate partnership program and new revenue for the Bowl. A 14-year veteran of college athletics, Owen worked for ISP Sports/IMG College for the past eight years including overseeing the Georgia Tech partnership in Atlanta since 2006. He will also serve in the same capacity for Atlanta Hall Management to direct sales for the College Football Hall of Fame. Owen is a graduate of Rhodes College and Florida State University and lives in Atlanta with his wife, Amy, and their daughter, Emily (3).

Vice President, Events
In his 12th year with the Bowl, Derek manages the Bowl’s events and game day operations and serves as the main liaison for the participating teams. He also serves as tournament director for the Chick-fil-A Bowl Challenge and is responsible for the Team Selection and More Than a Game committees. A graduate of Georgia Tech and Georgia State University, Derek lives in Smyrna with his wife, Meredith, their 8-year-old son, Ben, and 5-year-old daughter, Ava.

Vice President, Communications
An 18-year veteran of the sports communications industry, Matt is in his 11th year directing the public and media relations efforts of the Chick-fil-A Bowl. During that time, Garvey has helped grow the Bowl’s brand within the sports media industry and helped elevate its status to that of one of the premier bowls in the nation. A graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Matt lives in Kennesaw with his wife Heather, 10-year-old daughter, Elaine, and 6-year-old son, Owen.

Sales Manager
In his sixth year with the Bowl, Benji assists with Corporate Sponsor Sales and Sponsor Relations. He also manages the “More Than a Game” event sales for the both the bowl and the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game. A graduate of North Carolina State University, Benji lives in Buford with his wife, LeeAnna and daughter, Anna Charles, born in January 2012.

Communications Manager
Jessica joined the Chick-fil-A Bowl team in December 2010 and manages media operations, Atlanta and team market media outreach, digital media and print production. A graduate of James Madison University (JMU), Jessica previously worked as the public relations intern for the 2004 Chick-fil-A Bowl, public relations specialist for the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau, and most recently, as the assistant director of alumni relations at JMU.

Events Manager
Victoria joined the Bowl staff in September of 2011, after spending a year with GEP Atlanta managing corporate events. Her professional career includes 12 years with the Georgia Tech Athletic Association, where she supervised operations, recruiting, and fundraising for the nationally recognized men’s golf program. She graduated from the University of Georgia. A native of Cartersville, she lives in Vinings with her husband, Wes.

Events Coordinator
Anton has been with the Chick-fil-A Bowl since 2003, following a tenure as a community relations trainee with the Atlanta Braves and after serving as the Chick-fil-A Bowl ticket intern in 1999. A graduate of Georgia Southern University, Anton manages Georgia World Congress Center operations, Battle for Bowl Week competitions and the Chick-fil-A Bowl internship program.

Ticket and Sales Coordinator
In his first year with the Bowl as the Ticketing and Sales Coordinator, Mike oversees the day-to-day ticket operations as well as the processing and fulfillment of all ticket and parking orders. He was the Ticketing and Sales intern for the 2008 Chick-fil-A Bowl and has worked for Ticketmaster, the Atlanta Braves and Clemson University. A graduate of Clemson University in 2005 and Georgia State University in 2008, Mike now resides in Buckhead.

Executive Assistant
Back for her 41st bowl game, Patti is a Chick-fil-A Bowl institution. As executive assistant to President and CEO Gary Stokan, Patti is invaluable, contributing office management, event support and partner relations. Patti, an Atlanta native, has two daughters, Patrice and Brooke, and lives in Smyrna when she’s not at the beach or at a football game.
